CATALOGUE DESIGN: "KIM, THERE ARE PEOPLE DYING!"
As one of ten young curators to be selected for the RMB Latitudes CuratorLab cohort in 2024, this catalogue is a part of my online exhibition entitled "Kim, There are People Dying!" curated, designed, and executed on the prestigious Latitudes Online platform - the number one African art marketplace. The exhibition dives into Popular Culture as an alternative archive for previously excluded minority groups, and therefore makes reference to many iconic pop culture moments throughout history while the works both circumvent and reinforce the fluid notions of pop culture.
